READ THIS page about the Inca.  What's one statement you can make about this Empire?
1.  Take out your GGS guide:  Why couldn't the Inca fend off the Spanish conquistadors?
2.  Begin Apocolypto (Maya, Aztec)
3.  HW=eat, sleep, rest, HAVE FUN
(Day 1 we will finish up with Americas and start in on Ch 10:  Islam)

Machu Picchu, Peru.  Sacred site due to mountains around it that held special meaning to Inca people.  Untouched by the Spanish and a huge tourist attraction today.
